WHAT:
Gospel Dream 2006 is  

Gospel music’s premier talent search . . .
Competing for a national recording contract from Zomba Label Group, a division of Sony/BMG, contestants from across the United States will perform diverse styles of gospel/Christian music—including soul, traditional, rock, pop, country, and blues.
 
Gospel Music Channel’s hottest fall program . . .
The Gospel Dream 2006 television series, airing this fall on Gospel Music Channel,™ will feature the six-city audition tour, portions of “Gospel Dream Boot Camp,” and the final competition where gospel music’s next great talent gets his or her big break!

WHO:
Amateur vocalists, aged 18-40, from all walks of life.
Regional winners will be selected by talent scout Ron Grant from Casablanca Records (owned by record executive Tommy Mottola).
Prior to the finals, the TV audience will have an opportunity to vote by phone and send one previously eliminated contestant back into the competition.
National judges, including Max Siegel, president of Zomba Gospel and vice president of Zomba Label Group, USA, top Christian artist Joy Williams and Grammy Award winning producer James "Big Jim" Wright will select the final winner.

HOW:
Contestants register online at  www.GospelMusicChannel.com.  All initial auditions are a cappella performances—any musical style—of songs from a provided list of fifty titles.
At the end of each regional audition, the regional semi-finalists will be announced.
The regional semi-finalists will advance to the “Gospel Dream Boot Camp,” where the field will be narrowed for the final Gospel Dream competition.
